Quick answer: Cold plasma is a needle-free, 30-minute treatment that uses ionized argon gas to calm inflammation, reduce bacteria and support the skin's own repair. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin. In my studio, many clients see a difference after one session. A session is $250.
I've worked with skin for over 20 years, and very few things have surprised me. Plasma did.
So what is plasma, really?
It's the fourth state of matter, after solid, liquid and gas. It's the same thing that lights up the northern lights. In the treatment, argon gas is energized until it glows violet, and that energy reaches the skin without needles, cutting or harsh peeling. Research suggests it reduces acne bacteria, calms inflammation and encourages the skin to repair itself.
Rosacea: the redness that finally settled
Most rosacea clients come in afraid, because their skin reacts to everything. Plasma is gentle, and that's the point. I have clients whose rosacea calmed down after one treatment, some to the point where the redness was gone. I won't promise that for everyone, because rosacea can come back and some skin needs a few sessions. But the first time I saw it, I paid attention.
GLP-1 hair loss: what nobody warns you about
Weight-loss medications are changing bodies, and many people are surprised when their hair starts shedding. Fast weight loss and lower food intake can put the hair into a resting phase. Your scalp is skin too, and plasma wakes it up. I have clients who noticed new hair growth after a single treatment. It isn't magic: eat enough protein and ask your doctor about iron and vitamins. But a healthier scalp gives your follicles a better chance.
